Star cast: Deepika Padukone, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Manhar Bajaj
Director: Pradeep Sarkar
Music: R Anandh

Lafangey Parindey has the spirit of true Mumbaikars. The movie is set in a Mumbai wadi and residents Pinky and Nandu take us through a drive of will power and determination.
The film tells the fairy-tale of Nandu, a street bike gangster, played by Neil Nitin Mukesh and Pinky Palkar, played by Deeepika Padukone, a blind girl who wants to fly like a free bird defying her shortcomings and wants to get something important in life as a roller skates dancer.
Neil and Padukone do a decent job as the rough guy and blind girl, respectively, with a tapori gang of friends who split the limelight with them. Watch this one for the never-say-die spirit of humans with a tinge of entertainment. Lafangey Parindey, a rather unusual title of the film produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Pradeep Sarkar has Neil Nitin Mukesh and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.
The film progresses as the duo meet and Nandu teaching Pinky to chase her dreams by helping her to perfect her mastery in dance and helping her to see without eyes.
Nandu is a hardcore boxer, who pummels his opponent in the ring blindfolded but is a novice when it comes to love. The couple falls for one another and it remains to be seen whether Pinky becomes a huge dancer on roller skates and also whether Nandu will finally know what is love all about.
The lead characters set on a journey to achieve the impossible with their group of friends. It would also be refreshing to see Neil and Deepika as a fresh new pair in Bollywood films.
Actor Ajay Devgn was recently on the popular Indian show “Aap Ki Adalat” hosts by Rajat Sharma and he admitted that he loved playing the role of Haji Mastan (don in the film Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai). He says that his role was different from what he did in the film Company.
He also said that he and Amir Khan are some of the remaining Bollywood actors who needn’t manipulate anyone for an award.
Some comments by his fans –

Once Upon a time in Mumbai movie casts
Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut, Prachi Desai, Gauhar Khan, Randeep Hooda and Avtar Gill. It received appreciation from renowned critics.
Once Upon a time in Mumbai tells the story of Smuggler, Sultan who as a child works at the docks and the circumstances drive him into the smuggling world. He is the man of his own principles and ideology. He does incorrect things but in rightful manner. He always follows his conscience and his benign nature towards downtrodden people makes him friendly among them.
We did not get much glare at the love affair of Sultan with actress Rehana played by Kangana. It was wrapped up in just 20 minutes and 2 two songs.
It is a well made film that will remain on one’s memory. Every line of the film is a punch line and each dialogue a clap-trap. Ajay Devgan is undoubtedly the main underline of the film. Its story is based on an artist of the 70s named Sona. In the film Sona’s character is played by Kangana.
After a long time total paisa vasool, more control to Ekta Kapoor and Milan Lutharia. The film is a must watch as it has a good storyline coupled with wonderful music.
Director Milan Luthria recreates the underworld of 70s in Once Upon a Time in Mumbai. There’s smuggling, cabaret, a Robin Hood don, era Mercedes cars, the quintessential Bollywood backdrop, R D Burman overtones in music, theatrical dialogue-baazi and substantial style.
Once Upon a time in Mumbai movie has strike the silver screen on July 30, after being freed from muddle of court pleadings. It was feel good factor for the movie that only the disclaimer at its beginning saved it from the control of ban. Each character is fantasy of imagination and the plot is fabricated around the imaginary incidents.
Ranbir Hooda is playing the cop who is on the mission of curbing the unlawful activities of Sultan. He uses the tried and tested formula of divide and rule. He uses Shoib’s ambitions to usurp the powers of Sultan. Shoib dreams to reign on Mumbai and to realize his goal he can cross any limit. He even does not mind harming the innocent people. His romance with Mumtaz played by Prachi is refreshing.
Once Upon a time in Mumbai impresses the audiences with well penned dialogues which show the persona of characters. So far as music is concerned its ear pleasing tunes have become favourite of masses.
Luthria rightly recreates retro from the 70s. And this is not just in the low angles of the shots; strange prints on expensive nylon shirts; or trumpets for a background score. It’s most importantly in the sense of the big screen occasion, and a throwback to smart, terse dialogue.
The film presents to you two evenly powerful protagonists who are so strongly on paper magnetic characters that at no point they lose their onscreen great courage. And then it gives you the more multifaceted task – to choose between these two glorified gangsters.
